4 - Semicolons and American dashes

That twirling arrow came from nowhere
Oh God;
I didn't know what to write anymore.

The blinking cursor was stranded somewhere
Oh God --
Punctuated poetry is such a chore.

  2. Hahahahahhaha! You really do. :D

    It's supposed to be a pun on that kind of poetry, which uses a lot of punctuation. We studied this poet called Dylan Thomas in college. His poetry was very dense, compact, often hard to understand and had lots of punctuation which many times broke the flow. Of course, he may have intended just that but it used to get very tiresome sometimes.
